Litigators launch national boutique law firm: Lehotsky Keller LLP

February 1, 2021

Steven Lehotsky and Scott Keller today formed a national boutique law firm, Lehotsky Keller LLP, with an initial office in Washington, D.C. Lehotsky Keller LLP will help clients litigate cases challenging government regulations, handle complex civil cases throughout the country, and analyze and address cutting-edge legal issues.

Lehotsky was executive vice president and chief litigation counsel for the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, where he worked since 2013. Keller was head of Baker Botts LLP’s Supreme Court practice, and he previously served as Texas Solicitor General. Keller has argued 11 cases in the U.S. Supreme Court. Lehotsky clerked for U.S. Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia, and Keller clerked for U.S. Supreme Court Justice Anthony Kennedy.

“After eight years leading litigation efforts at the U.S. Chamber’s Litigation Center, I am excited to start a litigation boutique with my good friend Scott Keller,” Lehotsky explained. “We both look forward to continuing to represent the U.S. Chamber and to representing our expanding roster of business, association, nonprofit, and other clients to bring strategic and cost-effective advocacy to the most significant legal and regulatory issues of the moment.”

“We’re committed to becoming one of the nation’s top boutique law firms,” Keller added. “We’ll provide clients with excellent advocacy in the courtroom as well as sophisticated legal analysis for the boardroom.”

In addition to complex business disputes, Lehotsky and Keller have an established record of success in high-profile challenges to government regulation. Between the two, they have successfully challenged many federal, state, and local regulations, including Environmental Protection Agency, Department of Homeland Security, Internal Revenue Service, Department of Labor, Securities Exchange Commission, and National Labor Relations Board actions.
